Crochet socks/booties 0-3 months beginner friendly free pattern

Hello crocheters !! Getting chilly ?? Well here's an easy beginner friendly booties / socks for your new one !! I hardly post anything related to kiddo but this I had to.

This was requested by my co sister who wanted something for her baby goodie shop. Something different but fast seller at the same time. I "Pinterest-ed" ( yeah I always Pinterest for crochet pattern not Google ) some quickies and came up with this. So let's get started !!!

Materials
Any yarn of your choice. Mine is local made wool,
4mm crochet hook
Now if u wanna crochet for a new born,I suggest you size down the hook to maybe 3mm. It should measure under ,Like 7cm.
My socks measure 3.25" roughly. That's around 3 months.

Method

Round 1
In a magic circle work 6hdc. Slip st to join

Round 2
2hdc in each St around. Slip st to join. Total 12hdc

Round 3
1hdc in first St 2hdc in the next. Repeat all the way around. Slip st to join. Total 18 hdc.

Round 4 -7
1hdc in each St around. Keep a tab on the stitches. It should be 18 !!

Round 8-11
Snip off the yarn and start with a different colour.
Starting anywhere,Work 10hdc back and forth. Make sure you have 8 stitches remaining from round 7.

Now fold this part as shown and slip stitch to close. This forms the heel. You can whip stitch it also.
Snip off

Round 12
Work 1hdc in each stitch around. Slip stitch to join.

Round 13
2hdc together, 1hdc in the next two stitches. Repeat all the way around. Slip stitch to join. Snip off and weave in all the ends !!
That's it !!
